Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Practice Your Backhand

"One buffalo was seen leaping over one of the tennis nets in an effort to evade capture..."

just thought this was hysterical.

  2. Every time I walked through the kitchen at work, they were playing that clip on CNN and I had to stop to laugh. I just couldn't help myself...

This is the first time that I found your blog and I have to say "Amen Sister." When I turned 29, I went through, what I like to call, the "I'll Date Anyone Year." Everyone said I was too picky so I loudly exclaimed (unfortunately in front of all my friends and family) that I would date anyone that they set me up with for an entire year. I learned a very valuable lesson...drink less wine at family parties.

  4. This happened locally - I live in Baltimore. It was hysterical.

BTW, found your blog last week thru CL. I really enjoy your writing and sense of humor. My blog isn't nearly as cool. :)

  5. The AP reports: "A herd of buffalo that got loose and wandered around a well-to-do neighborhood won't be causing any more trouble: Their annoyed owner plans to pack them off to the slaughterhouse."

    Not so funny anymore...

  6. My local paper (St. Petersburg Times) had the best caption I've seen for that photo: "Next Up on Court 1: Deer, Antelope Play."
