nice questions kristy, although you know i strenuously object to the disney category. i got 6 in rnd 1, 2, and 6. i got 5 in round 6 and only 3 in rounds 3 and 7. I did not attempt the song category, i don't know songs by lyrics, but probably would have done ok looking at the answers, i dig most of those artists.
i love the invisibles and am pissed i missed spinal tap. loved the weird science one, though.
so grand total of 32 out of 60, not to good. i think the men would have lost that round ;-)
Good questions. Cuznate did better than me it seems. I scored 24 (by round: 9, 3, 3, 6, 0, 1, 2).
I have to say, though. I partially blame getting only 3 current events questions on you. :)
You see, a few months ago I started reading your blog and it was so entertaining that I started reading other blogs, too. My blog reading, though, is inversely proportional to my news reading, and I hardly ever have time to read the NY Times or Washington Post anymore.
i couldn't help but BURST into hysterics when the answers came back for the Invisibles round and TWO teams had guessed "Witness" for the Weird Science one.
Dude, the bras totally look amish. It's kind of scary. At first glance I thought, "The Messenger"?
Anyway, I got a 31, better than Alex (ha!) but not as good as cuznate. By round: 5, 2, 6, 5, 2, 7, 4. I did best on sex and movies, with disney and general knowledge close behind. :) And I also blame you for lack of knowledge about current events.
27...songs were hard, invisible were so funny (and I almost did say Witness untill I saw the naked Barbie doll) and I liked that the second round of General was harder than the first. Sort of like having to answer a question in your weakest category to win Trivial Pursuit. Long time IIF, first time commenter.

ReplyDeletei couldn't help but BURST into hysterics when the answers came back for the Invisibles round and TWO teams had guessed "Witness" for the Weird Science one.
i guess the bras look amish?
bwahahahaha!
I totally got the 'Weird Science' invisible, it was the 'Grease' one that through me off. For some reason I thought it was from 'Pleasantville'.
ReplyDeleteApparently in my eyes Olivia Newton-John and Reese Witherspoon look the same with heads.
um....without heads. I repeat...without heads.

Hi...in round six, is 'Me First and the Gimme Gimmes' the answer to the last question in round five? (One of my favourite bands :))
