if any of you are interested and/or missed it, last september i did my best to summarize my weight history as plainly and succinctly as possible.
i called it, "Escape From Stepford."
should you want a little background, here's Part I, Part II, and Part III.
And the last entry that responded to the feedback and included more information about my mom.

Kristy, this is really sad to re-read. really really sad. my mom looked like your mom in many ways... i'm the one who said that... not lori. i remember saying it even... and to this day i can remember how it felt to observe my mom... as far as i could tell ... as a child... my mom liked her body - i don't think she thought she was stunningly beautiful tho... i know i did. i still do actually... lin was too. and as far as i can tell the clan is a very beautiful one on all sorts of levels... thank you for going here.
ReplyDeleteWow! I just found your blog and am so glad I did! You are an incredible woman! I have also been on that roller coaster of overweight....too skinny......overweight. I am now trying to find a way to have a good body, and body image, as well as teach my kids the same thing!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck to you! You can bet I'll be back!
