Second Annual 30th Birthday!
apparently, when i was busy looking the other way, it became mid-june. hmmm.
which, among other things, means that it's less than a month until my birthday, wherein i'll be celebrating the first anniversary of turning 30 and i have NO PLANS. yet.
of course, i bring this up because i'm thinking a birthday party extravaganza might be a perfect opportunity to have another blog party. what do you think?
i'm picturing drinks, dinner, silliness of all sorts. ooh! maybe we could all go to the top of the sf hilton and dance to cheesy hits of the early 90s? (or maybe that only sounds fun to me?)
what about having a big ole' picnic at ghirardelli square and watching the fireworks?
hmmm. again.

I like cheese and dancing and vertigo. So there are two people who think a night at the SF Hilton would be a hoot.
ReplyDeletemake that three :)
ReplyDeleteYAYAYAYAYAYAY, any excuse to hit the city! Yeah, I know it's a long haul from Seattle, but I have family in Palo Alto, I can pretend I am there to see them. tee hee

ditto, on the cheese, dancing and vertigo....
ReplyDeleteand this time, i'll actually get a chance to say hello to you!
I'm all in. I'm actually up from monterey RIGHT NOW, down the street from the hilton, thinking I'd love to come back (sans child, cause let me tell you, while there is a lot to do with a child in this city, I like it better without) and party with the blogger and blogstalkers like myself.

ReplyDeleteSign me up. You know I don't have anything else to do.
ReplyDeleteBlogger party sounds like fun! Too bad I’m in far away LA. We should really organize one down here.
ReplyDeletedo you think there is any way to prevent the DJ from breaking up "Bust a Move" and "Baby Got Back" with random salsa hour?
ReplyDeleteeither way, count me *in*
Whatever you do, I'll be there. Um, what plans does Total Eclipse have for that weeeknd???
ReplyDeleteHi, Congratulations in advance and enjoy it. This reminds me of celebrating my own 30th. Was in San Francisco and my wish was to drink champagne in the middle of the afternoon standing halfway on the Golden Gate bridge and enjoying the view. That was hilarious! In the evenning a super dinner with friends in the Hilton (top floor).
